Changes to Company Law Information - Update

30 April 2008 :

Changes to the publishing arrangements for the Company Law information in the Belfast Gazette are now expected to take effect from May 2008 and for the Edinburgh Gazette some time later.

Please watch this news area for updates.

Previous News Item:

From April 2008 much of the company law information presently published in Supplements to the Belfast, Edinburgh and London Gazettes will be consolidated into a single electronic (PDF) only supplement. This will further improve value for the taxpayer, reduce the impact on the environment and reflect the future organisation of Companies House.

Corporate and Personal Insolvency information will be unaffected by this change and will continue to appear as normal.

Changes to Rates

21 April 2008 :

To reflect rising costs, the charge for placing notices in the Gazettes will increase for notices published in or after the issue of 1st May 2008 (London) and 2nd May (Edinburgh and Belfast).

The price excluding VAT for all notices of types typically less than twenty lines and placed by:

  • Webform, template or XML will increase by £2 to £47+VAT; or
  • Post, fax, or email will increase by £2.50 to £62.50+VAT.

The cost of longer notices will be subject to an equivalent small increase.

For full details please download new price lists for the London, Edinburgh, and Belfast Gazettes.

If you would like to find out more about electronic submission then please contact your local Gazette office.
