Information for Libraries

Presence in library collections is key to maintaining accessibility to the London Gazette. Public reference libraries are entitled to a free subscription to the main London Gazette and are welcome to take London Gazette supplements at reduced cost under the TSO Select standing order arrangements which enable budgetary certainty and reduced cost (01603 696151 or please email libraries.services@tso.co.uk).

For more information on standing order categories please see the current London Gazette standing order categories.

A subsidy of 50% of cost may be available for Supplements purchased through standing orders. View more information on the Public Libraries Access Scheme.

What librarians have said about the London Gazette:

"The London Gazette is a key resource for us. There is continuing strong demand for researching historical information such as honours and awards in the London Gazette. In addition, current copies are regularly used by our readers to check planning, transport and insolvency notices." Ruth Barriskill, Guildhall Library, City of London
