14 June 2013
:
The list, the second of two published every year, will be announced on Her Majesty’s Official Birthday this Saturday (15th June). It will include appointments to various orders including most commonly the Order of the British Empire.
Honours have been awarded on the monarch's birthday since at least 9 November 1908, the birthday of King Edward VII (1901–1910), and are usually handed out to civilians and ordinary people through the Order of the British Empire. The ranks are Member, Officer, Commander and then Knight or Dame Commander (a Knighthood or Damehood) and then also Knight Grand Cross or Dame Grand Cross (also a Knighthood or Damehood).

New Price List

:
Revised Pricing from 1 January 2013 for the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes
From 1 January 2013 there will be changes to the charges for placing a notice in the Gazettes.
For both public and private sector advertisers charges will no longer relate to the length of a notice, but will instead be based on the number of events included and the method by which it has been submitted.
Electronic submission, by webform, template or XML, continues to be the preferred means for submitting notices and the new charges offer considerable cost savings for submissions made this way.
